Na trama, o detetive Benoit Blanc (Daniel Craig) enfrenta seu caso mais sombrio. Um assassinato repentino abala uma pequena cidade. Para desvendar o mistério, Blanc se une à chefe de polícia local, interpretada por Mila Kunis.
